The House of the Faun was built in the second century B.C. It contains the "HAVE" mosaic and the very intricate mosaic currently believed to depict Alexander the Great's Battle at Issus. The House of the Faun covers an entire city block. It contains shops, street frontage, and two peristyle gardens.
