Definition: Praxilla of Sicyon (fl. 450 B.C.) was a Greek poet and one of the "9 Earthly Muses." She was a lyric poet and also wrote dithyrambs. We have few fragments of her writing. The topics appear to come from erotic stories in Greek mythology.
