Glastonbury

Definition: Glastonbury is the oldest abbey in Britain. According to legend, Joseph of Arimathea founded the first Christian community at Glastonbury. St. Patrick is also said to have visited Glastonbury. The first church built on the site was probably in A.D. 63.
