Augustine - Saint / Bishop of Hippo

(November 13, 354 - August 28, 430) One of four great fathers of the Christian Church, Augustine was born in Tagaste (modern Algeria). He turned from Manicheeism to Christianity under the influence of his Christian mother and Bishop Ambrose.
