Susanoh

Susanoh is the Japanese Shinto god of the winds, storms, oceans, and snakes.

Serpent with Eight Heads

After being banished from heaven, Susanoh lived at Izumo where every year the eight-headed serpent fed on a young woman. Susanoh offered to save the king's daughter who was the next scheduled feast if he could marry her. Then he killed the serpent using trickery.
