Definition:

Marcus Pacuvius (c.220-c.130) was the nephew of the poet Ennius. He wrote 13 tragedies in the Attic Greek style whose titles we know. He also painted and wrote comedy and satire. Pacuvius' tragic style was admired by many, although other ancient critics found fault with his grammar, syntax, and neologisms.
