- Polydamas - Trojan son of Panthous who advises the Trojans well but isn't followed.
- Hector - champion of the Trojans and son of Priam.
- Hephaestus - blacksmith god, son of Hera. He created fantastic armor as a favor to Thetis for her son Achilles. He owes Thetis for saving his life when he fell from Mt. Olympus.
