If I simply looked at Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, the goddess I would most want to be would be Athena because she gets her way most of the time and isn't bullied. However, I would prefer to be a more motherly, feminine goddess like Demeter or Hera. Which goddess would you want to be. Please explain your rationale.

Artemis

I would like to be Artemis because she is wild and free. She is the guardian of the hunt, wild animals, and unexplored places. She is powerful and her wrath is even feared by the mighty Agamemnon, who sacrifices his daughter to appease her.

Nemesis

Nemesis is the goddess of revenge and goodness, she's in charge of keeping things fair and equal for everyone. For some reason, I'm drawn to her. She doesn't get as much credit as she deserves. Being in charge of equality is a hard job, and I just think she's really cool.

Nike

Nike - The winged goddess of victory. Goddess of speed and strength, too. I've been entranced with the concept of Nike since taking a History of Art class in college and seeing a picture of the Nike of Samothrace.

Poseidon

I would like to be Poseidon because I could control the surf and the waves because I love to surf and be in the ocean.

Dionysus

What is better than a nice tall glass of wine to raise the spirits?

demeter

her job as a goddess is essential because food comes from agriculture and crops, thats why I like her the most.

Hera

I would like to be Hera. She gets some pretty bad press, but she's from Samos and so is my family on my father's side.
