ancient nuclear war
- Lots of interesting references to evidence of nuclear war in ancient times. A Google search will lead you to discussions of sites in India, the Sahara and Sinai, and the Mohave (sp?) desert in the American southwest. Impossible to deny the connection between nuclear war and advanced technology... so you will not see this evidence discussed outside of 'ancient aliens.' As far as further speculation on truly ancient mysteries, start with Graham Hancock's 'fingerprints of the gods' and go on to Zacharia Sitchin (sp?) and you'll have much to think about!

- I believe there are three main reasons for this:- 1. the empire became so big and as a consequence received many people from different parts. The management of the Senate was probably unawhere or unable to control the changes for the better and the people choose the corruption route 2. The development of Christionanity which I think, provied a confused way of life and not condusive to the old Roman image and way of life. As a consequence they were unable to defend them-selves against attact. 3. Lack of self-esteem and greatness.
