Inscription Help

Monday December 5, 2005
A forum poster asks about a Latin inscription. Can you help?
My family brought back a picture of the Black Madonna in 1910. I have been trying for years to learn the origins and authenticity of our painting. My mother-in-law passed away without passing on the true knowledge of the picture. This is what I know about it currently. The picture has a coat of arms seal with the different Bishops' names on it.The writing on the picture is in Polish and Latin. It was made in 1909. There is an imprimatur number on the painting which is 2437.

    The Latin on the painting:
No. 2437 imprimatur Underneath imprimatur is the word
Wladislaviensis, die 19 julii1909a. Episcopus Wladislaviensis seu Calissiensis+ Stanislaus Ep-pus. Curiae Ep-palis Secretarius rom. Kossowski.
