Latin Tutorial

Sunday January 14, 2007
There is an online Latin tutorial in 12 lessons, from the National Archives, UK, that will allow people to read relatively modern documents (from 1086 to 1733) written in Latin. The lessons cover Latin expressions created for terms in British history and religious purposes, as well as general information on dates. It appears to be a real gem.

On a related note, the Rogue Classicist lists a new online Latin group called Atrium Latin Themis. Based on Wheelock (6th edition), it will tackle one chapter a lesson, and is free.
