Thursday's Term to Learn - Forum

A forum is an open square or market place that was found in Roman towns. Typically, it would be a rectangular space with buildings around it, including temples, a speaker's platform, and basilicas. Inside would be statues. It was like the Greek agora. The Latin plural of the word forum is fora. In English, many of us say "forums".
