2,000 years after they were written, Dead Sea Scrolls go online,
The Washington Post reports that five of the Dead Sea Scrolls (the Great Isaiah Scroll, the War Scroll, Commentary on the Habakuk Scroll, the Temple Scroll, and the Community Rule Scroll)
went online today, Monday September 26, 2011. The five scrolls are available at
Digital Dead Sea Scrolls.

Google is a great thing, but Qumran near the Dead sea, where the scrolls were found, is a very beautiful place and the Dead sea itself is one of the finalists in the new7wonders of nature campaign (you can vote here: http://www.facebook.com/VoteDeadSea ). I think people better get off the couch and visit the place.
