About.com's Guide to Catholicism, Scott P. Richert, has put up a series of prayers called the O Antiphons, that are used by Catholics during Advent, from the 17-23 of December. Scott writes, "The O Antiphons are best known as the inspiration for the Advent hymn 'O Come O Come Emmanuel.'"
