Carly Silver is a former writer for ThoughtCo who wrote about classical and ancient histories, including Greek, Roman, and Egyptian gods and goddesses for just under two years.
After graduating from Barnard College at Columbia University, Silver interned at Archaeology magazine, interviewing esteemed professors about their research and investigating the stories of long-buried queens and ancient sites. Later, she wrote for Shmoop.com, where she created character profiles for mythological heroes and creatures, ranging from titans of Irish mythology like Cuchulain and Conor mac Nessa to Egyptian deities, such as Hathor and Aten.
