Shiva is the Lord of the dance, the all knowing, originally called Rudra, he is identified with Agni, the god of fire. He is male and female and at the same time god of creation, destruction, and maintenance.Shiva
From Encyclopedia Mythica. The third of the Hindu trinity, Shiva (or Siva) is the Destroyer god. He is accompanied by demons and represented as a phallus. Parvati (Devi) is his consort.
