Definition: Vanaheim is one of the regions mentioned in Norse mythology. There are nine worlds and one of these is Vanaheim -- Vanir + heim=home. Thus, Vanaheim is the home of the Vanir gods and goddesses. Njord was born there and will return there after Ragnarok.
